Job Requirements

  • Ability to bend and/or kneel up to 10 percent of the time
  • ability to lift, reach, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds and up to 50 percent of the time
  • ability to stand and walk up to 90 percent of the time
  • ability to work outside during all seasons of the year

Job Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and methods
  • basic proficiency in using hand tools such as blowers, rakes and brooms
  • ability to drive a cart safely and efficiently

  • willingness and ability to receive and act on instruction from supervisors

  • regular and reliable attendance

Job Duties

  • Pick up and dispose of trash, litter and debris
  • replace liners as needed and clean containers
  • blow and/or sweep entrances, sidewalks and ramps
  • remove spills and stains from entrances and sidewalks
  • remove cigarette butts and clean ash trays as needed
  • help clean and prepare vehicles for next service day
  • inspect equipment before use to ensure proper and safe operation and report problems to the Crew Leader and/or Supervisor
  • identify and report unsafe work conditions or practices to the Crew Leader and/or Supervisor
