Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in psychology or early childhood education or related field
  • must have Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • must have current CPR certification
  • 3-5 years experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a multi-disciplinary team or equivalent experience
  • knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques
  • excellent time management and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • ability to travel locally with reliable transportation
  • ability to pass physical exam, TB test, and drug testing
  • maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • ability to obtain criminal record clearance
  • must be physically able to perform duties including bending, lifting, walking, and sitting for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in psychology/early childhood education or closely related field
  • must possess and maintain a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • must possess and maintain current CPR certification
  • typically requires 3-5 years’ experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting
  • expertise in approaches to intervention and assessment based on Applied Behavior Analysis
  • excellent clinical, administrative, time management and interpersonal skills
  • highly organized with great attention to detail
  • ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with various individuals and groups
  • knowledge of formal behavior management safety courses
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and TB test
  • ability to maintain positive consumer interaction and professionalism
  • ability to interpret and implement organizational policies

Job Duties

  • Only conduct assessments
  • have more freedom in choosing your cases to work on
  • enjoy the flexibility of creating/setting up your own schedule
  • occasionally earn our 'above and beyond' bonus, along with other incentives
  • occasionally travel to various regions of southern California, being fully compensated for hotel stays and mileage
  • schedule and conduct multiple assessment appointments with families both in home and in the community
  • utilize evidence-based ABA assessment techniques
