Job Requirements
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License with a minimum of 1 year of experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required
- Must have good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must be able to read and write English and have good communication writing and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass DOT required pre-employment drug test
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and be at least 21 years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- Has no certificate action since the date of the interview
- Has no misdemeanors or felonies since the interview date
Job Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
- 3-5 years proven experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of Gulfstream G-IV Challenger 604 Hawker 800/900XP maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of aviation procedures servicing maintenance
- Adapt in workplace safety best practices
- Understanding of applicable FARs
- Knowledge of computers and electronic software applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including ability to read write and speak English
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintain and repair airframes and related components including flight controls, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
- Conduct the disassembly of aircraft by removing components cleaning inspecting and properly tagging parts for inventory
- Perform aircraft maintenance inspections and repair in accordance with regulations manufacturer instructions and company policies
- Apply technical knowledge of aircraft systems to effectively troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions
- Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company standards
- Maintain premises of the shop facility in a clean and organized manner
- Maintain equipment and tools in serviceable and working condition
- Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments through coaching counseling and guidance
- Perform many other duties as assigned
