Job Requirements
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to read and write English and have good communication, writing, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass DOT required pre-employment drug test
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- No certificate action since the date of the interview
- No misdemeanors or felonies since the interview date
Job Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge of Gulfstream G-IV, Bombardier Global, Hawker 800/900XP, Cessna 560XL, Latitude and Longitude maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of aviation procedures, servicing and maintenance
- Adept in workplace safety best practices
- Understanding of applicable FARs
- Knowledge of computers and electronic software applications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including reading, writing and speaking English
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Maintain and repair airframes and related components including flight controls, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
- Conduct disassembly of aircraft by removing components, cleaning, inspecting and properly tagging parts for inventory
- Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections and repair in accordance with regulations, manufacturer instructions and company policies
- Apply technical knowledge of aircraft systems to effectively troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions
- Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company standards
- Maintain premises of the shop facility in a clean and organized manner
- Maintain equipment and tools in serviceable and working condition
- Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments through coaching, counseling and guidance
- Perform other duties as assigned
