Job Requirements

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license with a minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required
  • Must have good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be able to read and write English and have good communication writing and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to pass DOT required pre-employment drug test
  • Has no certificate action since the date of the interview
  • Has no misdemeanors or felonies since the interview date
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be at least 21 years of age by 1/1/20

Job Qualifications

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
  • 3-5 years proven experience in a similar position
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Knowledge of aircraft models including Gulfstream G-IV Bombardier Global Hawker 800/900XP Cessna 560XL Latitude and Longitude
  • Strong understanding of aviation procedures servicing and maintenance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including proficiency in English
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Job Duties

  • Maintain and repair airframes and related components including flight controls hydraulics fuel systems and mechanical components
  • Conduct the disassembly of aircraft by removing components cleaning inspecting and properly tagging parts for inventory
  • Perform aircraft maintenance inspections and repair in accordance with regulations manufacturer instructions and company policies
  • Apply technical knowledge of aircraft systems to effectively troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions
  • Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company standards
  • Maintain premises of the shop facility in a clean and organized manner
  • Maintain equipment and tools in serviceable and working condition
  • Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments through coaching counseling and guidance
  • Perform many other duties as assigned
