Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in a sous chef or similar culinary leadership role
- strong knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards
- ability to manage kitchen staff and delegate responsibilities effectively
- excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- good communication skills
- professional attitude and dedication to teamwork
- familiarity with club policies and guidelines
- culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee production of all food for ala carte and banquet functions
- manage food and labor costs to adhere to budget goals
- ensure compliance with Ridglea Country Club policies and standards
- supervise kitchen staff including line cooks, prep cooks, banquet cooks, and dishwashers
- maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation
- manage inventory, dating, labeling, and storage of food items using FIFO standards
- communicate daily with Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef regarding operations and special requests
