Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a sous chef or similar culinary leadership role
  • strong knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage kitchen staff and delegate responsibilities effectively
  • excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • good communication skills
  • professional attitude and dedication to teamwork
  • familiarity with club policies and guidelines
  • culinary degree or relevant certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee production of all food for ala carte and banquet functions
  • manage food and labor costs to adhere to budget goals
  • ensure compliance with Ridglea Country Club policies and standards
  • supervise kitchen staff including line cooks, prep cooks, banquet cooks, and dishwashers
  • maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation
  • manage inventory, dating, labeling, and storage of food items using FIFO standards
  • communicate daily with Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef regarding operations and special requests
