Job Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred
  • Previous deli experience is preferred
  • SERV Safe Certification is preferred
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs especially during times of high volume and/or stress
  • Must be able to read and do simple math problems
  • Wants to be part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Greet customers within 10 feet and respond to questions promptly
  • Provide accurate product information and recommendations
  • Create weekly schedules to ensure department coverage
  • Train staff on store procedures and operational standards
  • Manage inventory for freshness, quality, and proper stock levels while minimizing waste
  • Verify deliveries against invoices for accuracy and condition, submit required reports and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure correct pricing based on margin guidelines and department goals
