Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within retail or food service
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Valid food handler certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Reliable transportation to the stand location

Job Duties

  • Become proficient in all Brewista and Shift Lead duties and skill sets
  • Maintain excellent wait times, cleanliness, and customer interactions through training, coaching, and encouragement
  • Provide regular feedback to each team member on strengths and areas of growth
  • Work with crew's needs and availability to create a weekly shift schedule, maintaining budgeted cost of labor while ensuring quick wait times and short lines
  • Track and order necessary inventory, small wares, parts, and equipment, while maintaining a low cost of goods sold through eliminating waste and accurate counting
  • Ensure appropriate cash handling, deposits, and change for their stand
  • Work in a self-sufficient manner and involve the district coach when needed
  • Ensure crew is knowledgeable and meeting all health and safety requirements
  • Develop new leaders to step into future roles
  • Implement and communicate directives from upper management promptly
  • Delegate tasks thoughtfully to leadership team and Brewistas to facilitate efficiency and development
  • Responsible for hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions related to shift leads and baristas
