Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 737NG type rating
  • An unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot certificate with a multiengine rating, unless you are a former military pilot, in such case, you may possess a Commercial Pilot certificate with an instrument rating, and an FAA issued B-737 type rating
  • Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
  • Multi-Engine Instructor Certificate (MEI)
  • Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII)
  • Minimum 2,500 hours total pilot time (1,500 if a former military pilot operating multiengine aircraft not limited to centerline thrust), of which 250 hours night, 75 hours of actual or simulated instrument time with at least 50 hours in actual flight
  • A minimum of 500 hours of turbojet experience required with at least 100 hours turbojet flight time in the past 12 calendar months, 50 hours of which must have been in a turbojet aircraft or level C or D simulator
  • 500 hours were acquired within the preceding three (3) years as Pilot in Command time in Jet Aircraft
  • 300 hours Pilot-in-Command on the B-737NG
  • 350 hours turbine engine instructor or check pilot time
  • A minimum of a Second-Class Medical Certificate is required

Job Duties

  • Provide subject matter expertise to customer pilots on the operation of the Boeing 737NG aircraft as required by the customer
  • Ability to serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on Boeing 737NG aircraft as required by the customer
  • Assist with pre-flight planning, including weather assessment, fuel requirements, weight and balance, and route analysis when required by the customer
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Public Use Aircraft regulations
  • Coordinate with ground crew, air traffic control, and dispatch to ensure timely departures and arrivals
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections to verify airworthiness
  • Ensure adherence to company safety protocols, irregular, and emergency procedures
  • Maintaining currency in company aircraft and adhering to flight department policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot
