Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of eight years flying experience including five years military flying
- 1500+ flying hours in 707 aircraft variants
- Experience as simulator instructor with formal academic instructor training
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Proficient in technical document interpretation
- Eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work overtime and variable shifts
- U.S. citizenship required
- Physically able to perform necessary tasks including climbing and sensory detection
- Comfortable with simulator environments including motion
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree obtained from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Minimum of eight years of total flying experience including at least five years of military experience
- 1500 or more flying hours in 707 type aircraft
- Experience as an academic platform/training device (simulator) instructor
- Completion of formal academic instructor course
- Strong facilitation, data analysis, language, mathematical, and reasoning skills
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex technical and procedural documents
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and produce oral and written presentations
- Mathematical ability to calculate figures, amounts, percentages, and interpret graphs
- Strong reasoning skills to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and formulate conclusions
- Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance
- Capable of performing duties with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work overtime, varying shifts, and any day as needed
Job Duties
- Delivers comprehensive instruction on 707 pilot procedures within aircraft, classroom, and simulator environments
- Conducts specialized training programs in crew resource management (CRM) and advanced instrument concepts
- Contributes as a subject matter expert in the development of new training curricula and reviews existing lessons
- Proactively identifies and suggests improvements to optimize training policies and procedures
- Cultivates a positive learning environment and encourages adoption of new technologies and tasks
- Provides ground training for crew members, offering diagnosis and remediation for student challenges
- Manages administrative duties including scheduling, record keeping, student progress monitoring, counseling, quality assurance, safety protocols, security procedures, and maintenance of training programs and equipment
