Job Requirements
- must be at least eighteen years old
- high school graduation or GED
- one year experience in aquatics or supervisory activities
- ability to demonstrate swimming skills
- valid Texas Driver's License
- valid certifications through the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding, First-Aid, and CPR-AED or ability to be certified by first day
- ability to work an open and flexible schedule
- successful completion of drug and alcohol screening, physical examination, and background check
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Schedule staff hours and supervise the swimming pool staff
- keep all pertinent information on staff members
- test swimming pool water to analyze water chemistry
- receive cash from patrons, monitor balances and deliver daily deposits
- prepare daily and weekly lesson plans
- monitor and observe the pool area for safety, weather, temperature, and other conditions
- act as a lifeguard by watching over swimmers and patrons to ensure safety
- perform first aid, CPR, and other rescue functions
- set-up the pool area, bring out equipment, and close the pool
- clean the pool deck, facility, restrooms, and surrounding pool areas
- perform related tasks as necessary
