Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior supervisor experience preferred
- must be reliable and responsible
- ability to exhibit maturity in the workplace and have a cooperative attitude
- must have strong communication skills
- ability to work a computer

- ability to remain on feet standing or walking for entire shift
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform tasks that involve reaching, bending, and stooping

Job Duties
- maintain a guest focus while performing duties
- always assume 100% responsibility for quality guest experience
- schedule staff accordingly in order to keep the department properly staffed at all times
- follow up and check on the job training
- attend all daily morning meetings held by the Executive Chef and/or the Outlet Manager
- hold daily meetings with Outlet Manager and staff to review daily operation and discuss past performance that can be improved
- conduct regular training and ensure that all staff participate in cross training
- encourage all staff to cross train during the low season and follow up and check on the job training
- oversee the beverage stock, condiments and operating equipment ensuring items are returned to the designated storeroom properly and timely
- ensure that all standards set for food presentation, quality and quantity are met and monitored to provide and increase service standards
- oversee the overall service operation
- make sure hygiene and uniform standards are strictly followed as per F&B department standards
- distribute relative instructions and rules to employees
- maintain smooth department operation on a daily basis
- responsible for all transactions and all accounting procedures
- ensure all information received by the Executive Chef and/or Outlet Manager is followed accurately
- attend all training conducted by the personnel department
- perform any other duties as assigned
- duties are subject to change as management deems necessary to best serve the needs of Moody Gardens
