Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum 10 years executive leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising and sponsorship sales
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience collaborating with diverse community stakeholders
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and volunteers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Proven executive leadership experience
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational development skills
  • Successful track record in sales, sponsorship, and fundraising
  • Excellent communication and media relations skills
  • Financial acumen and budgeting expertise
  • Experience in event production or sports management
  • Ability to build consensus and manage diverse stakeholders
  • Skilled in public speaking and community engagement
  • Experience working with nonprofit boards
  • Capacity to lead and nurture organizational culture
  • Ability to fill senior leadership roles temporarily

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate executive leadership and servant leadership
  • Work with board to define vision and develop goals for the organization
  • Grow corporate support through sales, sponsorships, and fundraising
  • Market and promote festival events and programs
  • Manage and prepare budgets and financial strategies
  • Ensure robust internal operating procedures
  • Oversee quality production and innovation of events
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Engage community stakeholders and build consensus
  • Serve as an active public leader and spokesperson
  • Develop a positive organizational culture
  • Fill senior staff vacancies as needed
  • Recruit new board directors
  • Serve as key salesperson for major sponsorships
  • Represent organization in public speaking and media engagements
