Job Requirements
- must be able to bake various baked goods including Mexican, Central American, and American styles
- must perform mathematical operations related to job functions
- must enjoy working with the public
- must have good communication skills
- must be self-motivated
- must have a friendly, courteous attitude and provide extraordinary customer service
- must exhibit responsible, professional, and positive attitude towards the job, co-workers, and customers
- must commit to safety and follow all health and safety regulations
- must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- must be able to transfer to other store locations within reasonable commute
- must meet physical job requirements
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum 3 years of baking experience or 1 year of bakery management
- proficiency in baking various Mexican, Central American, and American baked goods
- basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- good communication skills
- ability to perform math operations related to job functions
- friendly and courteous attitude with customer service orientation
- self-motivated and responsible work ethic
- professional and positive attitude towards team, customers, and workplace safety
Job Duties
- assist the Bakery Manager in bakery operations and performance
- merchandise bakery products ensuring freshness and presentation
- rotate and replenish displays
- ensure proper product storage and temperature compliance with health regulations
- prepare and bake bakery products to company standards
- deliver extraordinary customer service and greet customers warmly
- respond to customer requests promptly to meet departmental goals
