Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in aircraft cleaning or ground handling is an asset
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical fitness to handle labor-intensive tasks
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo criminal background check
- Must be able to lift and move heavy items of 70 pounds regularly
- Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Possess a government ID and social security card
- Able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions and small spaces
- Able to receive appropriate security clearances
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work extended hours based on operational needs
- Able to carry heavy items and perform physical tasks like climbing stairs and working in cramped or high places
Job Duties
- Cleaning and servicing aircraft interiors including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories
- Preparing the cabin for customer boarding and departure including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories
- Handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to specifications
- Assisting ramp agents after cabin cleaning completion
- Performing foreign object debris (FOD) walks in the ramp area between flights
- Marshaling aircraft during arrivals and departures
- Ensuring necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room
- Reading and interpreting aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage routing tags
- Performing other related duties within skill and experience capabilities
