Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in cleaning or maintenance preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to perform strenuous activities such as lifting heavy items and working in various weather conditions
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- ability to pass required security background checks
- excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Able to work in extreme conditions such as hot and cold weather as well as small spaces
- eligible to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check
- possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- flexible schedule allowing work during nights, weekends, and holidays with some shifts requiring extended hours
- must be able to work in cramped or high places
- must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs
- must be able to carry and use a 13 plus pound backpack vacuum
- must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items of 70 pounds or more regularly and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
- must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently for extended periods
Job Duties
- Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories
- helping prepare the cabin for customer boarding and departure including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floors, galleys, and lavatories
- checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications
- assisting ramp agents when cabin cleaning is complete
- performing Foreign Object Debris walks in the ramp area between flights
- marshaling aircraft during arrivals and departures
- ensuring necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights
- read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tags
- performing other related duties as assigned within appropriate skill and experience capabilities
