Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years 0-2 years of related work experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- bi-lingual preferred English and Spanish
- excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- ability to successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously, work efficiently, and meet deadlines in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions
- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- ability to effectively recognize, evaluate and use security-related tools and equipment
- valid and in-state driver license required

Job Duties
- Meet, escort, and observe visitors while they are in the facility
- monitor facility access points at shift changes, break times, and lunch times
- perform daily surveillance from the Security Monitoring Center
- conduct routine patrols as assigned
- look out for suspicious persons, vandalism or hazards
- perform random and scheduled security and pocket checks as assigned
- respond to alarms and distress calls
- report incidents and infractions to leadership and human resources
- monitor and sign out destruction trucks
- act as a witness on site for loading of trucks
- accompany specified destruction trucks from the warehouse to the incinerator
- act as a witness at the incinerator for specified trucks
- prepare daily activity reports
- communicate with leads, supervisors, managers, and clients regarding security related issues, concerns, and matters
- conduct yourself at all times in a professional manner
- follow all safety and facility rules
- wear issued and approved security uniforms at all times while on the job
