Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
- Valid licenses and certifications for operating powered industrial trucks
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Capacity to work under moderate supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to keep accurate inventory records
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
- Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
- Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
- Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
- Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
- Adheres to all quality guidelines
- Works under moderate degree of supervision
- Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
- Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
Job Duties
- Performs visual inspections of incoming and outgoing materials for visible damages
- Performs physical put away and storage of products following inventory location standards
- Coordinates off-site transfers with routing, transportation, and receiving teams
- Reports on product location issues, discrepancies, or damaged products immediately
- Uses powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move material consistent with production requirements
- Records movement of material in ERP system
- Maintains housekeeping and stages raw and finished goods in inventory location
