Job Requirements
- +2 years environmental service experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- demonstrate basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and operating equipment after successful completion of 90 day training
- ability to clean and disinfect areas of blood, bodily fluids, and other pathogens
- demonstrated knowledge and understanding of proper handling and disposing of medical infectious waste and soiled linen
- ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- ability to interact fairly and appropriately with people of all backgrounds

Job Duties
- perform cleaning projects, providing support to coordinate and complete minor maintenance tasks, moves, and set ups
- facilitate employee training and development
- perform area inspections to evaluate and monitor quality performance, efficiency, customer satisfaction and infection control standards
- maintain current area specific records, supply/equipment and inventory control
- assist housekeeping and floor technicians with cleaning patient rooms, isolation rooms, and all other common areas
- complete all other assigned duties related to Environmental Services
