Job Description

The Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC) is a well-established 501(c)(3), private, non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing and enhancing the core assets of downtown Cincinnati and the Over-the-Rhine (OTR) neighborhood. Founded with a mission to strengthen the vibrancy and connectivity of Cincinnati’s Central Business District, 3CDC works closely with the city's corporate community and government to drive substantial economic and cultural development. With an annual operating budget of $20 million, the organization employs approximately 170 full-time staff and 180 part-time staff, engaged across a range of areas including real estate development, property management, civic space programming, and business district management.Show More

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk or bike for long periods
  • Previous experience in customer service or public interaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to handle conflict and engage respectfully
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with downtown Cincinnati and local neighborhoods is a plus
  • Physical ability to walk or bike for extended periods
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming public environment

Job Duties

  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or bike to maintain safety and cleanliness
  • Proactively greet and assist residents, visitors, and businesses with directions, event details, or recommendations
  • Provide a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the organization’s standards of respect, efficiency, and inclusivity
  • Bring positive energy to daily interactions and be the face of the district
  • Engage respectfully with individuals whose behavior conflicts with posted rules or district regulations
  • Respond promptly to cleanliness and safety concerns
  • Support homeless outreach and community engagement efforts
