Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Basic understanding of kitchen operations
  • Strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Prior culinary experience of 4 plus years preferred
  • Culinary education preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare, season, and cook hot sauces, soups and stocks, broths, stews, braised, sautéed and roasted meats, fish and poultry
  • Substitute or relieve cooks assigned to junior stations as necessary
  • Assist in the supervision and training of all other cooks
  • Supervise other cooks in the absence of the Working Chef or Executive Chef
  • Produce consistent, quality food products that exceed guest needs
  • Maintain basic cost control in food preparation
  • Support kitchen operations with effective communication and leadership
