Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Full-time enrollment at McMurry University
- Awarded work study funds by Office of Financial Aid
- Ability to provide original forms of identification for payroll and eligibility
- Physical ability to walk frequently, stand for long periods, lift and move equipment up to 60lbs
- Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
- Provide class and practice schedule to employer
Job Qualifications
- Must be enrolled full-time as a McMurry student
- Award of work study funds from the Office of Financial Aid
- Able to provide original ID forms to complete payroll documents
- Knowledgeable about the campus
- Reliable, courteous, and timely
- Ability to work well cooperatively and take direction from supervisors
- Audio and visual experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Set up and tear down tables and chairs in meeting spaces according to Meeting Event Order and diagram specifications
- Deliver equipment in a timely manner to various campus locations
- Ensure unused rooms are clean and set to standard
- Assist in inventory management as scheduled
- Inform Director of Events about equipment needs, rentals, supplies, and staff issues
- Assist in record keeping and filing
- Answer phones and confirm events and programs
