Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience in food service
- Ability to work outside of normal hours and evenings as needed
- Commitment to YES Prep's mission and values
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to maintain emotional control under stress
- Good interpersonal skills for team collaboration
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Food Service Handler or Manager Certification desired
- CPR Certification beneficial
- Basic computer skills
- Bilingual skills considered an advantage

Job Duties
- Assisting with Food Service Management Company with receiving inventory
- Reviewing cafeteria inventory upon delivery
- Assisting with receiving and organizing food deliveries
- Scanning students' IDs for snack and supper meals for the after-school program
- Entering all afterschool meals and snacks in the Point-of-Sale system before shift end
- Substituting as servers when needed
- Counting and claiming student ID numbers electronically or manually
- Ensuring all students receive a reimbursable meal
- Cleaning and sanitizing food service areas
- Assisting with meal deliveries to various locations
- Supporting nutrition education awareness events
- Assisting with participation incentive activities
- Assisting with after school programs as assigned
- Performing additional duties as required
