Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand or walk for most of the shift
  • Ability to follow recipes and produce consistent, quality products
  • Willingness to bring personal knives on the first day
  • Ability to breakdown and clean equipment
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Willingness to work varied shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of menu items and recipes
  • Ability to use various kitchen equipment effectively
  • Good memory and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Apply various cooking methods to meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods
  • Season and cook according to recipes
  • Execute prep lists and checklists promptly
  • Inspect food areas for sanitary practices
  • Ensure proper food temperatures
  • Use excellent memory skills to prepare multiple dishes simultaneously
  • Accurately distinguish flavors and food quality
  • Portion, arrange, and garnish food
  • Regulate cooking equipment temperatures
  • Assist other cooks during busy periods
  • Perform all kitchen duties including preparation, cooking, and cleaning
  • Follow recipes and procedures with minimal direction
