Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- must have a valid driver's license according to state laws
- must have an acceptable motor vehicle record
- proof of insurance with expiration date and named insured required at hire and policy renewals
- must have a satisfactory vehicle that meets company standards
- ability to perform mathematical calculations
- ability to read and follow directions
- must be able to work long hours including nights and weekends
- willingness to cross-train and perform other duties within the restaurant
- physical ability to repeatedly use hands, stand for prolonged periods, walk, grasp firmly and use fine finger dexterity
- ability to bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch, kneel, repetitively use feet, and lift/move up to 50 pounds
- ability to operate a motor vehicle safely
- ability to work outdoors and in various environmental conditions including noise and fumes
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience in the United States
- prior experience in delivery or pizza making preferred
- ability to perform mathematical calculations
- strong customer service skills
- good cash management skills
- ability to follow directions and work well within a team
- ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
- trustworthy and reliable
- basic knowledge of operating a motor vehicle safely
Job Duties
- Perform duties including pre-delivery vehicle preparation, learning the delivery area, checking orders for quality and accuracy, following proper delivery procedures
- making money drops after each delivery
- providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone
- acting with a sense of urgency in everything you do
- perform other assigned duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients and taking orders
- work as part of a team and assist each other by being on time for your shift, supporting other workstations during your shift and completing all closing duties, including clean up around the restaurant, at the end of each shift
- enhance the company's image by complying with uniform and appearance standards
- contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, energy and fun
- accurately process order paperwork and payment transactions, execute cash management duties, and use the FOCUS System
- support sales efforts by suggestively selling to increase the check average when taking an order
- protect the company's assets by maintaining organized safe, and clean work areas
- comply with safety and security standards at all times
