Job Description

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, located in Bentonville, Arkansas, is a public non-profit institution dedicated to celebrating the American spirit through an exceptional collection of American art. Job Requirements

  • Must be a college student, sophomore or above
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Must maintain confidentiality of all information
  • Must submit a cover letter and resume
  • Students must provide a current schedule or official transcript to qualify for internship credit or pay scale
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must successfully complete a background check and confidentiality agreement

Job Qualifications

  • College student, sophomore or above
  • Experience or interest in studio art, art education, museum work, art history, or event production is preferred
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours
  • Must maintain confidentiality of information as required

Job Duties

  • Assist with youth and family public program facilitation including family days, school break programming, camps, classes, nature programs, exhibition openings, and other museum-wide events
  • Material preparation and inventory
  • Liaison with guest speakers, partners, and instructors for program planning and implementation
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Work with the public in a positive and professional manner
  • Research, plan and create new content for future studio programs based on the intern's interest and skills
