Job Requirements

  • legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in instrumentation technology, electrical technology or equivalent technical program
  • currently enrolled as a full-time student
  • graduation date of august 2026 or later
  • available to intern for a minimum of 10 continuous weeks
  • temporarily relocate to internship location region
  • must maintain a valid driver's license
  • able to climb up to 50 feet using inclined and vertical ladders
  • able to lift up to 45 pounds
  • able to bend, kneel, knee stand and squat up to 30 minutes at a time
  • able to sit and stand for prolonged periods over 2 hours
  • able to work outside in harsh weather
  • able to work alone a high percentage of the time
  • able to travel up to 15% of the time
  • able to respond to emergency calls
  • willing to work overtime as needed
  • able to work with chemicals and bases
  • able to wear personal protective equipment
  • able to maintain a clean-shaven face for respirator use
  • able to perform firefighting duties
  • able to work with hydrocarbons under high pressure and heat
  • willing and able to obtain a transportation worker identification card (TWIC)

Job Qualifications

  • pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in instrumentation technology, electrical technology or equivalent technical program
  • currently enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate program
  • effective communication and presentation skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • willingness to learn and adapt
  • previous internship or co-op experience in a related industry preferred
  • minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred

Job Duties

  • attending orientation and training events
  • participating in field trips, social activities, and weekly seminars
  • engaging with functional leaders and networking opportunities
  • participating in performance reviews with managers and mentors
  • providing technical support for new equipment installations, maintenance, and repairs
  • giving presentations about work assignments and internship learnings
  • adhering to safety requirements and company policies
