Job Requirements

  • currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student
  • minimum 2.8 GPA
  • pre-employment drug testing
  • FBI criminal background check
  • education and degree verification
  • interest in sports, tourism and events
  • strong written and communication skills
  • strong organizational and time-management skills
  • willingness to learn new tools and processes
  • willingness to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • current valid driver's license and good driving record
  • driving record must comply with Virginia DMV point system
  • out of state driving records must be obtained and presented at interview

Job Duties

  • assist with pre-event planning and logistics
  • schedule and coordinate vendors and equipment
  • support permitting processes for events
  • collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth execution
  • communicate with internal staff and external event operators
  • help manage event resources and scheduling
  • perform additional tasks as assigned
