Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a sports environment or with technology preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to attend games onsite regularly
- Willingness to complete correspondence training program
- Reliable transportation to the ballpark
Job Qualifications
- Exceptional and demonstrable knowledge of baseball and its rules
- Strong computer proficiency with Windows OS and the ability to quickly learn new software
- Previous experience with a professional or college sports team, particularly in a press box setting
- Regular availability to attend games on weekdays, nights, and weekends
- The ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform under pressure
- A team player attitude, including a willingness to learn from mistakes and collaborate with support staff
- Professionalism, reliability, and dedication
Job Duties
- Arriving two hours before first pitch to check in with remote MLB support staff
- Performing pre-game equipment checks and troubleshooting any system issues
- Operating the ABS application, screening data, and playing out challenge videos
- Accurately entering data throughout the game
- Communicating with MLB staff to ensure data accuracy
- Submitting a detailed post-game report
- Communicating with game-night support staff to report any issues or feedback
