Job Requirements
- Authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
- No visa sponsorship available including F-1 or J-1 students
- Ability to work onsite full-time for duration of internship
- Compliance with U.S. export control laws
- Enrollment as sophomore or higher in related degree program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Self-motivated and disciplined
- Current Pilot's License
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or related field with sophomore status or higher
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good organization and time management skills
- Self-motivated and disciplined
- Attention to detail and goal oriented
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple time sensitive responsibilities
- Highly motivated
- Ability to work in team environment
- Current Pilot's License
- General knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and Aeronautical Information Manual preferred
Job Duties
- Embody Textron Aviation's values to complete collective mission and achieve vision
- Receive and process requests for demonstration, transportation, and training flights
- Determine availability of aircraft and flight crew and examine feasibility of trip based on flight time and crew duty time
- Input specific trip data into scheduling software
- Interface with flight crews, sales managers, and sales support teams to organize flight request details
- Communicate with maintenance facilities and line service personnel to ensure aircraft readiness
- Manage aircraft schedule for special requirements such as air shows and international tours
- Track and schedule off-site production, modification, and delivery flight activity
- Coordinate off-site transportation and lodging for department personnel
- Provide aircraft and flight crew reports to management
- Schedule recurring pilot training and deconflict with international schedule
- Dispatch and flight following for all flight activity including monitoring company frequency communications
- Monitor flight activity maintaining communication with flight crews emphasizing quick emergency response
