Job Description
The Bismarck Larks are a distinguished collegiate baseball team that competes in the Northwoods League (NWL), which is the largest organized summer collegiate baseball league in the world. Established in 2017, the Bismarck Larks have quickly made a name for themselves by providing an exceptional sports and entertainment experience to fans across North Dakota and beyond. Job Requirements
- Must be a current college student
- Availability for all home games, events, and Funatix events, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work mid to late mornings through the end of games or events
- Available for weekday office hours from 9 AM to 5 PM
- Physically capable of lifting items weighing between 50 and 160 pounds
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task effectively
- Willingness to represent the Larks in various roles including mascot duties
- Must be able to relocate if not living in North Dakota
- Self-motivated and proactive work ethic
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to providing excellent fan experiences
Job Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in hospitality management, culinary arts, food and beverage management, sports management, or a related field
- Previous experience in customer service or food and beverage operations preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and train team members
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work long shifts
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
- Commitment to core values of positive energy, innovation, community engagement, and exceptional service
