Job Requirements
- Current California Food Handling card
- approved non-slip shoes
- must be able to work in high temperatures for long periods while staying hydrated and following safety requirements
- must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stoop, bend, reach, kneel to store product and food storage and to perform cleaning duties
- stand long periods of time
- must be 18 years old or older

Job Duties
- Weighing, measuring, mixing, and prepping ingredients according to recipes
- completes hot meal preparation by steaming, grilling, broiling, baking, or frying meats, chicken, vegetables, and other ingredients
- working environment is indoors/outdoors as needed
- working environments subject to varying degrees of summer heat during park schedule May to September
- checking food and ingredients for freshness
- attends to the detail and presentation of each order
- follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- maintains temperature logs as required
- follows appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation on all food items
- stores leftovers according to established standards
- works well under pressure and within time limits
- able to handle work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
- completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules and dishwashing/pot washing as needed
- ensures smooth operations of kitchen services during absence of supervisor or lead
- assists with food & dry goods deliveries and completes restocking of stations as needed
- serve food, beverages, or desserts to customers in a very fast-paced environment
