Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
  • Ability to lift 65+ pounds regularly and occasionally over 100 pounds
  • Ability to work first shift hours from 6 am to 4 pm
  • Flexibility to work mandatory overtime if required
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to use computer systems for inventory and record keeping
  • Ability to follow safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and use hands consistently throughout the shift

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous experience with Oracle or similar warehouse management system
  • Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to pass basic math skills test

Job Duties

  • Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved or distributed
  • Transport materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to production areas
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets
  • Mark materials with identifying information
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers
  • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
  • Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
  • Drive certified material handling equipment including forklifts
  • Load and unload trailers of palletized and non-palletized product
  • Utilize manual and automated material handling equipment
  • Practice and adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Keep work area clean and remove trash
  • Store supplies in designated areas
  • Keep aisles and exits clear and free from obstructions
  • Follow instructions for safe lifting and carrying
  • Identify and report defective equipment
  • Report job-related injuries to supervision
  • Take photos and log items for documentation
  • Use computer to enter records
  • Climb and work at heights of material tanks as needed
  • Perform cycle counts of merchandise
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S
  • May perform other duties as required
  • Mandatory overtime may be required
