Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse position
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Ability to pass basic math skills test
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of obtaining forklift certification
- Ability to multitask
- Attention to detail

Job Duties
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed
- Transport materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials or other stock items and distribute items to production areas
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets
- Mark materials with identifying information
- Open bales, crates and other containers
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
- Drive certified material handling equipment
- Transport stored items within the warehouse
- Load and unload trailers of palletized and non-palletized product
- Utilize manual and automated material handling equipment
- Practice and adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines and procedures for housekeeping and personal protection
- Keep work area clean and remove trash
- Store supplies in designated areas
- Keep work aisles and exits clear from obstructions
- Follow instructions for safe lifting and carrying of various sizes, shapes and weights
- Identify and report defective equipment
- Report all job-related injuries to supervision
- Take photos and log items of incoming and outgoing loads for documentation
- Use computer to enter records
- Climb and work at heights of material tanks where applicable
- Prepare and take cycle count inventory of all merchandise
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S
- May perform other duties as required
- Mandatory overtime may be required
