Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in custodial or cleaning services
  • At least 1 year supervisory experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to work in confined spaces and at varying heights

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in custodial or cleaning services with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Previous experience in aircraft or airport cleaning preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning protocols and sanitation chemicals used in aircraft cleaning
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and communication

Job Duties

  • Supervise and train aircraft cleaning personnel including cleaners and leads
  • Schedule and assign daily cleaning tasks based on flight schedules and team availability
  • Conduct team briefings on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Perform regular inspections of cleaned aircraft to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
  • Address and rectify any deficiencies in aircraft cleanliness
  • Monitor and adjust cleaning schedules to align with flight arrivals and departures
  • Oversee the usage and availability of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and OSHA guidelines
  • Implement disinfection protocols for high-touch surfaces
  • Train staff on safe handling of chemicals and PPE use
  • Serve as primary contact between cleaning crew and airline operations
  • Manage urgent cleaning requests and adjust schedules accordingly
  • Maintain logs of cleaning activities and prepare reports for management
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide feedback
