Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment alcohol service training
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to lift stock to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions constantly
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to work days, evenings, holidays, weekends, and events
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years of previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment preferred
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Ability to adhere to the company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment alcohol service training
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately total guest checks and conduct inventory
  • Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
  • Ability to multitask by meeting the needs of customers while preparing drinks for guests
  • Verbal communication skills
  • listening skills with the ability to take beverage orders and fill those orders correctly

Job Duties

  • Receives drink orders from patrons or servers
  • Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
  • Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions
  • Serves wine and bottled beer or draws draught beer
  • Enters drink orders into point-of-sale system, collects payment from patrons for drinks served
  • Completes daily reporting accurately, depending on company and managerial standards
  • Maintains bar stock by ordering or requisitioning liquors, beverages, condiments, and supplies
  • Cleans and stores bar equipment and bar stock
  • Prepares and replenishes appetizers and garnishes as needed
  • Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
