Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stock 50 cases per hour
- Able to work in cold environments (-10 to 40 degrees)
- Able to push loaded two wheeler averaging 100-120 pounds
- Able to pull loaded pallet up to 700 pounds
- Able to pull loaded stock truck
- Working on feet for entire shifts between 4-8 hours
- Store/facility teammates minimum six months employment preferred
- Store support center teammates minimum one year employment preferred
- Must be in good standing with no active discipline
- Manager approval required if invited for an interview
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or grocery experience is an asset
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Familiarity with inventory and stocking processes
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as hand jack, power lift and baler
- Understanding of safety procedures in a retail environment
- Physical ability to handle stocking and lifting tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
- Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments
- Process incoming product from warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
- Read and understand shelf tags
- Sort damaged product for credit
- Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
- Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
- Maintain company productivity standards
- Other duties as assigned by management
