Job Requirements

  • At least 6 months experience preferred
  • TIPS certification
  • food handler’s card
  • ability to perform tray service
  • takes direction well and without being offended
  • ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions
  • ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers with 10’s and 100’s
  • ability to comprehend safety rules and operating instructions
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to follow instructions
  • personable demeanor
  • knowledge of menu and resort offerings
  • willingness to complete service related classes within first 90 days

Job Qualifications

  • At least 6 months experience preferred
  • ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees
  • ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Job Duties

  • Clearing table after guests are done with meal
  • clearing all soiled china, glass or silverware throughout guests’ dining experience
  • resetting tables to standard as designated by management
  • maintaining water service throughout meal for guests
  • provide bread service to each table as specified by the outlet’s menu
  • assisting server with small duties throughout service to appease guests
  • be an ambassador for the guests, relay any messages to server as necessary
  • communicate any needs to server and oblige guests whenever possible
  • provide personalized guest service to each table, interact with guests, smile and offer warm greetings and farewells
  • other duties as assigned
