Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, kneel and pivot for extended periods
- Exposure to cold and hot environments for various durations
- Ability to push and pull heavy items up to 2400 pounds occasionally
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to adhering to safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior experience in bakery or food service is preferred but not required
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Basic knowledge of bakery operations and equipment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow company policies and safety guidelines
Job Duties
- Assist with the bakery operation within the retail store environment including preparation, baking, merchandising and final presentation of all bakery products
- Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times
- Smile, make eye contact and thank customers upon fulfilling requests
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards
- Assist with or create customer special orders such as cake orders
- Operate bakery department equipment including ovens, mixers, and utensils
- Adhere to corporate and state sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management and follow company policies and procedures
