Job Requirements
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks for store/facility teammates preferred
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks for store support center teammates preferred
- Must be in good standing not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline
- Manager approval required if invited for an interview
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, and pushing carts
- Ability to work outdoors in seasonal weather
- Reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work standing for long periods
Job Duties
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
- Place customers' purchases into bags
- Place filled bags in cart
- Carry customers' purchase to cars
- Retrieve carts from parking lot
- Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts
- Stock bags on check stands
- Empty trash from check stands and service center
- Sweep and mop floors
- Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves
- Read and understand shelf tags
- Verify prices of merchandise
- Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management
