Job Duties
- serve as a military advisor and leader supporting acculturation efforts for participants in the USAF RSAF English Language Training program
- apply a minimum of two years of experience as a military supervisor to ensure effective oversight and guidance
- utilize military instructor experience to enhance the acculturation experience and optimize participant development
- collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to fulfill acculturation objectives and ensure alignment with program requirements
- enforce standards outlined in relevant military guidance documents
- partner with RSAF Country Liaison Officers and Military Training Leaders to enable acculturation while maintaining communication to de-conflict efforts
- promote skills in interpersonal relationships adherence to military customs and courtesies adaptability to the military environment and academic advancement
- evaluate mentor and counsel RSAF ELT IMSs regarding their military and academic progression and address motivation discipline or academic issues with tailored remediation
- support RSAF ELT IMS participation in military events such as Retreat Ceremonies and formal Air Force parades
- develop and implement disciplinary processes to maintain student adherence to professional military attitudes behavior and academic responsibilities
- support participation in the Field Studies Program coordinating with Sheppard RSAF Program Manager and 82nd Training Wing
- conduct weekly dorm inspections and ensure weekly linen exchanges
- report repair needs to the USG Facility Manager
- provide on-site student oversight 24/7 coordinating with RSAF MTLs to maximize supervision coverage
- maintain a ratio of at least one MAL leader for every 20 students ensuring proper staffing levels
- oversee accountability for up to 150 RSAF ELT IMSs and their dormitory rooms including 24-hour emergency phone support
- develop and maintain a student management system to ensure accurate accountability and propose technological solutions
- document and report significant disciplinary or non-compliance issues
- conduct counseling sessions for students struggling with motivation discipline or academic progress
- document FSP events for each IMS on approved forms
- augment supervision of FSP trips ensuring student accountability and discipline
- provide and oversee vehicle transportation services including medical appointments official transactions arrivals and departures at Wichita Falls Regional Airport official FSP events and authorized trips within a 150-mile radius
- coordinate contingency transportation in rare situations with prior COR approval
- ensure transportation activities strictly adhere to scope limitations excluding non-official purposes
- maintain accurate records of all authorized transportation trips
- assist Testing Control Officer and ELT Instructors in administering tests as required
- ensure accountability of enrolled students daily and document efforts to encourage participation in classes and activities
- participate in classroom instruction as guest speakers explaining military terminology and concepts
- develop and implement a transition plan to support progression into advanced technical training programs
- perform other duties as assigned
