Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco products
- must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language sufficiently to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
- must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
- must have the ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time
- must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach including overhead
- ability to work in varying and extreme temperatures

- Basic reading, writing and math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Job Duties
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays adhering to attendance policy
- arrive to work on time consistently
- arrive in proper attire following uniform and appearance standards
- maintain clean and well-groomed hair style as approved by management
- attend all required training and safety courses and meetings
- report and follow up on safety hazards to ensure a safe work environment
- abide by federal, state, local law rules and company policies
- maintain store cleanliness and stock levels using organizational skills
- perform minor repair and maintenance of store equipment
- operate all assigned equipment daily
- handle all payments following company policies
- prioritize customers to ensure repeat visits
- greet and assist customers with product or service inquiries
- provide positive interactions by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints
- ensure a friendly and efficient checkout experience
- contribute to a supportive team environment
- communicate accurately and positively with customers and staff
- utilize problem solving and de-escalation skills
- operate cash register, money order machine, electronic lottery, Tach II safes, credit card machines, gasoline console and emergency shutoff valve
- perform store merchandising such as stocking shelves, pricing, blocking and fronting shelves, placing window banners, and ensuring product coding
- perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
