Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Must obtain Texas driver's license within 90 days if relocating
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Ability to maintain clear driving record
- Ability to work onsite with no remote option
- Availability to work any shift Friday or Saturday
- Must be available for 80% or more of scheduled shifts weekly
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to use industrial machinery
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and customers
- Adherence to company attendance and punctuality policies
- Compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Must be a responsible and reliable individual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of driving experience preferred
- Valid Class C driver's license
- Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to follow written, oral and diagram instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items up to 100 pounds
- Ability to operate industrial machinery for pallets up to 2400 pounds
Job Duties
- Know and actively demonstrate daily company mission statement and core values
- Maintain uniform standard for worked hours as detailed in employee manual
- Maintain a clear driving record
- Maintain safe driving practices and speeds
- Maintain a neat and orderly vehicle
- Move supplies and equipment to ensure efficient storage in delivery vehicle
- Receive and verify contents of all shipments
- Make notes on invoices for variances and damaged products
- Return damaged products and tax stamps
- Maintain driver route sheet after every stop
- Ensure compliance with filing system for transfer paperwork
- Assist in unloading as needed
- Receive and verify payment for deliveries
- Report inventory issues and invoice discrepancies
- Provide feedback on delivery vehicles
- Follow management directives
- Fulfill responsibilities with care and attention to detail
- Practice teamwork and cooperation
- Maintain strong professional relationships with customers
- Provide superb customer service
- Manage time and prioritize tasks
- Handle stress in a fast-paced environment
- Comply with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Operate industrial machines to move pallets
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain attendance and punctuality
