Job Requirements

Valid Class A commercial driver's license
minimum of 2 years experience driving heavy trucks
knowledge of relevant safety and federal regulations
ability to operate power equipment safely
reliable and punctual
physical capability to load and unload goods
high school diploma or equivalent
valid driver’s medical certificate or ability to obtain

Job Qualifications

Valid Class A commercial driver's license
experience driving trucks with capacity of more than 3 tons
familiarity with federal and state regulations governing commercial driving
ability to operate power equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
strong customer service skills
good communication skills
ability to maintain accurate delivery documentation
ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
physical ability to load and unload trucks

Job Duties

Drives truck to destination
prepares receipts for load delivered and ensures accuracy of product delivered versus invoices
collects payment for goods delivered if required
maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations
maintains communication with Branch Management
loads and unloads truck
inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
safely operates power equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, ramps, loading docks, lift gates
operates within applicable safety guidelines as per government regulations and company safety policies
performs work to prevent damage to company equipment, facilities, and products
ensures proper equipment cleanliness
follows up on all customer requests to ensure satisfaction
treats all customers with respect and courtesy
upholds company policies and attitudes
accepts responsibility for own actions affecting customers and company
adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety rules
exemplifies BakeMark core values
performs other duties as assigned
