Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety protocols

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Directing department personnel in the absence of the Deli/Bistro Team Leader
  • Meeting department goals and objectives
  • Communicating with store director and deli/bistro supervisors
  • Ordering products and supplies to maintain stock levels
  • Overseeing preparation and merchandising of deli/bistro food items
  • Displaying deli/bistro merchandise according to guidelines
  • Rotating products to ensure quality and control shrink
  • Meeting food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Receiving merchandise and auditing invoices
  • Maintaining clean and orderly sales counters and work areas
  • Working safely with slicers, ovens, and burners
  • Taking and fulfilling customer orders on time
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
