Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with internal and external customers
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to stand watch and patrol facility and be aware of traffic problems
- Safety shoes required
- Working knowledge of work zone traffic control standards and techniques
- Valid flagger certification preferred

Job Duties
- Direct and control traffic throughout the facility
- Observe and report all unusual occurrences
- Assist police, fire, and rescue units and maintenance personnel in emergencies and routine operations
- Use safety equipment and skills such as CPR and first aid
- Check ID cards and issue visitor passes at checkpoints
- Monitor and inspect vehicles entering facilities
- Prevent unauthorized pedestrians and vehicles from entering
- Perform inspections of assigned work areas, buildings, facilities, and equipment
- Conduct daily housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Maintain high visibility during peak traffic
- Maintain daily logs and document all incidents and discrepancies
