Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must obtain Texas driver’s license within 90 days if new resident
- Must maintain a clear driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to operate industrial machines moving pallets up to 2400 pounds
- Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday
- Must be available for 80 percent or more of scheduled shifts
- Must comply with Specs Family Partners safety regulations and OSHA guidelines
- Must maintain attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years driving experience preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos
- Strong communication skills with coworkers and guests
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and decimals without aid
- Responsible, reliable, and committed to service
- Patience, friendliness, and outgoing personality
- Self-starter with strong work ethic
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions
- Valid Class C driver's license
Job Duties
- Know and actively demonstrate company mission statement and core values daily
- Maintain uniform standard for all worked hours
- Maintain a clear driving record
- Maintain safe driving practices and speeds
- Maintain a neat and orderly vehicle
- Move supplies and equipment to ensure efficient storage space in delivery vehicle
- Receive and verify contents of all shipments to be delivered
- Make notes on invoices showing variances and products damaged during deliveries
- Return products damaged during deliveries including tax stamps
- Maintain driver route sheet after every stop
- Ensure compliance with standardized filing system for paperwork
- Assist in unloading based on location needs
- Receive payment for deliveries and verify amounts
- Inform manager of inventory or invoice discrepancies
- Provide feedback regarding delivery vehicles
- Carry out directives of management efficiently
- Fulfill responsibilities with care and attention to detail
- Practice teamwork and cooperation
- Create and maintain strong professional customer relationships
- Provide superb customer service
- Possess time management skills and prioritize tasks
- Manage stress in a fast-paced environment
- Work in accordance with all safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Use industrial machines to move pallets up to 2400 pounds
- Perform other projects or job duties as assigned
- Maintain attendance and timeliness
- This is not a remote position
