Job Requirements
- Honest and caring attitude
- own hand tools or willingness to acquire them
- ability to work closely with a partner
- obtain and maintain a D.O.T. physical card (paid by company)
- pass pre-employment drug screen
- pass pre-employment background check
- ability to apply and use new technologies including Dispatch Track and iPad
- work 5-6 days per week, often 6 during busy seasons
- ability to work safely in fast-paced, demanding environments
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull for 10+ hours daily
- ability to maneuver in confined spaces such as stairways, hallways, and elevators
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- clean motor vehicle record with two or fewer moving violations in the past three years
- experience using hand tools for furniture assembly
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to learn and use dispatch and delivery technology platforms
- physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs frequently
- experience working in physically demanding environments
- able to work early mornings and full shifts
- basic mechanical skills for assembly and disassembly
Job Duties
- Deliver furniture to customers' homes
- assemble and disassemble furniture using a variety of tools
- remove old furniture as required
- provide white glove service demonstrating merchandise usage
- explain company policies and procedures to customers
- safely load and unload furniture from delivery trucks
- communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers
- work independently with minimal supervision
