- Ability to read, write and follow instructions
- driver's license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Driving Record Review Standards
- ability to move heavy weight of 100 lbs regularly and occasionally in excess of 250 lbs
- ability to remain stationary and move for extended periods

Job Duties
- Safely drive valet parked vehicles
- perform valet parking duties as assigned
- greet patients and guests upon arrival to the hospital
- transport and assist ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients and guests to and from clinics, inpatient units and procedure areas via wheelchair, patient bed, patient stretcher, or walking them to their destination
- deliver wheelchairs to assigned areas
- problem solve when service recovery is needed
- assist patients and guests with questions and way finding needs
- occasionally drive a motorized transportation cart safely, perform guest services dispatch duties, deliver moveable medical equipment throughout the hospital, clean and store equipment, drive late evening shuttle, and perform other duties as assigned
- comply with UI Fleet Safety Driving Record Review Standards
