Job Requirements

Ability to read, write and follow instructions
Ability to move heavy weight of 100 lbs regularly and occasionally in excess of 250 lbs
Ability to remain stationary and move for extended periods
Ability to work in inclement weather
Ability to move long distances
Ability to perform duties indoors and outdoors

Job Qualifications

Driver's license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Driving Record Review Standards
Excellent customer service skills
Experience working with the general public in a service environment
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Ability to use a mobile phone and other electronic devices
Ability to understand basic floor plan of MCNL
Basic computer skills
Ability to safely drive all types of vehicles
Ability to exceed customer expectations

Job Duties

Safely drive valet parked vehicles
Perform valet parking duties as assigned
Greet patients and guests upon arrival to the hospital
Transport and assist ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients and guests to and from clinics, inpatient units, and procedure areas via wheelchair, patient bed, or stretcher
Deliver wheelchairs to assigned areas
Problem solve and assist patients and guests with questions and way finding needs
Occasionally drive motorized transportation carts and perform guest services dispatch duties
